Game of Thrones – The Things I Do For Love

The things I do for love scene is one of the images I’ve been putting off for a long time. I had two reasons. First, it’s one of my least favorite scenes in the book, after the death of Ned and the burning of the Winterfell library. Second, it was logistically difficult and I wanted to be sure I knew how to do it before I put pen to paper.

The biggest problem was if I wanted to show Bran falling, I couldn’t show Cersei. The window was too small. It was probably just as well since her nudity would have made it harder to post elsewhere. Also, I wasn’t sure just how buff Jaime is. It’s tempting to make him a slight pretty boy so he looks more like Cersei. However, Jaime considers himself one of the strongest in the land. Considering he’s aware of people like the Clegane brothers, he can’t be that delusional, even with his ego. I went halfway, a little bulky but mostly wiry.

Anyway, I’m glad to be done with it.
