Emerald City Comiccon Sketches
I spent most of my weekend at the annual Emerald City Comic Convention. Well not at, hanging around it with my sketchbook, sketching cosplayers. It went okay I’ve found that compared to other events, Emerald City tends to be relatively slim pickings. It’s not that there aren’t many cosplayers, on the contrary, it’s easier to count the people not wearing costumes. It’s just they don’t hang around outside of the convention itself that much and when they do, they don’t stand still. To make matters worse I don’t think I was really in my “zone” for most of the weekend. Still, I think I averaged about three pages a day.
There isn’t really much here I can brag about, but that’s not the point of the exercise.
