Mermay 2021 – Day Fourteen – Beached
I had a little trouble with today’s prompt, beached. This was because all I could think of, at first, was either an easy fat joke or having mermaids trying to save an actual whale.
Finally it occurred to me that beaching could suggest a shipwreck, a mermaid’s specialty.
