Mermay Twenty-One – Futuristic
When I saw today’s prompt, futuristic, I immediately thought of the underwater city display that I saw when I went to Epcot on spring break. I wanted to give this a retro feel to it so I started looking at a lot of the costumes from such forties sci-fi series as Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. I didn’t like the look of them as much as I thought I would and besides, I didn’t think people would recognize them. So, I went with the Jetsons instead.
I’m pretty happy with this even though I was unable to duplicate the shade of pink of Judy’s wardrobe.
