Inktober 2019 – Day Four – Freeze
Before starting today’s sketch, I was briefly overthinking the prompt, freeze.
The problem was what would get frozen. Not counting a brief couple of minutes considering Lovecraft’s Cool Air, (which is more thaw than freeze) I mostly was thinking of variations of frozen corpses in Antartica. Though none of my initial compositions were very promising. I finally went back to Lovecraft with antarctic explorers finding a frozen Shoggoth, in a cross between At The Mountains of Madness and John Carpenter’s The Thing.
